Local Investment Fund
Description
The Local Investment Fund (FLI) is intended to stimulate local entrepreneurship by promoting access to start-up and expansion capital for traditional or social business.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible you must fulfill the following conditions :
- You must be a Quebec-based business whose primary FLI-funded activity is located on the territory of the MRC de Pierre-De Saurel
- You must make an investment
Investment criteria
- A viable and profitable business
- Promoters to have know-how and skills connected with the project submitted
- Jobs created on the territory of the MRC de Pierre-De Saurel
- A capital contribution in addition to the entrepreneur's own initial investment and the FLI financing is desirable
- The business plan should demonstrate that the enterprise is consistent and profitable, and has good prospects and a significant economic impact

Financial assistance
Financial assistance takes the form of a loan with or without guarantee, of surety, or of bonds to a maximum amount of $50,000 per venture.
FLI Innovation
In order to meet market requirements, the establishment of a fund allowing companies to invest in innovation is available under the name FLI Innovation.
If your project meets the criteria of FLI Innovation, funding could be enhanced and reach a maximum of 100 000 $.
Note : To be eligible to FLI Innovation the project must be submitted to an evaluation grid.
